Don't see a chapter in your area? Start an IMC chapter today!

Are you in an aviation related industry or a CFII looking to build your business?

  • Making yourself known to local pilots is a great way to do that, and IMC Clubs provides you the perfect forum! IMC Clubs was established to create a community of pilots who share information by fostering communications to promote safety and build proficiency in instrument flying.
  • The IMC Clubs concept is to bring together IFR-rated pilots who fly in real-world “actual IMC” and provide them an opportunity to share stories, network with the larger pilot community, and gain valuable insights and tips for their IFR flying.
  • As a Chapter Host, you would organize and provide a location for regularly scheduled meetings, bringing local pilots and aviation enthusiast to your location. This is done through advertising and recognition of the IMC Clubs Organization and Membership.
  • IMC Club Meetings provide a forum to highlighting guest speakers and for promoting participation and discussion of IFR flying. Sharing your experience through our IMC network, helps promote you, and your business, while promoting the continuing education and experience of IFR pilots everywhere.
  • Safer pilots, safer skies, and safer instrument flying: IMC Clubs is the only organization dedicated to face-to-face networking and sharing of tips and techniques through our web site.

Come join us! We look forward to hearing from you!

Submitting your application for Chapter status takes relatively little preparation, as defined below, and has the capability of being greatly rewarding for you and your fellow pilots.

  • The first thing you need are a few interested pilots, in your area, who are instrument rated and want to promote instrument flying proficiency and safety, and who want to participate in the IMC Clubs with membership.
  • Choose a Chapter Head to be the designated representative for your chapter.
  • You will also need to have at least one FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instruments (CFII) located in your area. It could be you.
  • Chapter names will be based on the state and City of your chapter.
  • Arrange for a meeting place like a conference or briefing room at the airport, large enough to accommodate your members. Submit your application to IMC CLUBS for approval.

Once IMC CLUBS receives your application you will be contacted by our Director of Chapter Coordination. He can answer all your questions.

Once approved, you will receive your welcome package to help you get set up. Your assigned coordinator will also assist you in setting up your clubs agenda and scheduling of events.
